The National Youth Sports Coaches Association's (NYSCA) membership program is provided at the local level through dynamic partnerships with over 3,000 community-based organizations, acting as Chapters of the NYSCA. Parks & Recreation Departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA/YWCA Clubs, AYSO Regions, Police Athletic Leagues, Church and Military affiliated programs, as well as, other youth service groups throughout the country are eligible to create NYSCA Chapters.
If you are interested in having your coaches trained through the NYSCA program email NAYS Headquarters at nysca@nays.org and a representative from the NYSCA national office will be in contact with you with information on starting an NYSCA Chapter.
5 Steps in the Chapter Development Process
- Completing the Chapter Application
- Signing the NYSCA Agreement
- Training as a Clinician (review Clinician's training manual and complete exam which is all provided at no cost)
- Promoting the clinic (Marketing Kit provided at no cost)
- Ordering the clinic materials (materials are provided at no cost)
Chapters are provided with a nine (9)-step comprehensive screening program and are offered opportunity to obtain reduced rates for volunteer coach criminal background checks.
