The 2009 Excellence in Youth Sports Award winners were presented by Mitch Albom at the 2009 Youth Sports Congress in Orlando, Florida. Five winners are selected for their commitment to provide excellence in the field of youth sports. This year's winners are represented by four military branches and one park & recreation community. Along with the five winning organizations selected, NAYS selects 20 organizations that are award Honorable Mention recognition.
