What is Global Gear Drive?
The Global Gear Drive program was established to place quality sports equipment in the hands of children around the world who wish to take part in sports activities but are currently unable to do so due to shortages of equipment and gear. The Global Gear Drive is always accepting donations of youth sports equipment and distributing it to various impoverished regions all across the world.
What type of equipment is acceptable?
New and used equipment is both accepted. However, we ask that the used equipment be in fairly new/slightly used condition with minimal wear and tear for re-use.
Is equipment from any sport ok?
While our initial focus is on soccer(futball), basketball, and baseball equipment, any sport gear is graciously accepted and used. We also welcome uniforms and sports apparel as well.

Where is the equipment going?
We currently have four international offices located in Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Mexico. Other regions of the world will be added as our international outreach and programs develop.
What about shipping?
We ask that you simply package the equipment up into shipping boxes and contact our International Headquarters to schedule a pick up at no cost to you. From there, we will review and inventory the equipment received and distribute it to one or more of the regions currently receiving assistance from our program through our proud shipping sponsor, Freight Center (www.freightcenter.com).

Can I help promote the Global Gear Drive program in my local league, school, or church?
Yes. Please contact NAYS at 800-688-KIDS for more details, or e-mail Global Gear Drive Director, Cindy Daub at CDaub@nays.org, for more information.
If I am unable to donate equipment at this time, is a cash donation accepted?
Yes. The Sammy Wilkinson World Memorial Fund has been established to provide funding to the Global Gear Drive and Game On! initiatives. Your monetary contribution will be used for leveraged purchases of new equipment, as well as towards funding for transportation of the donated gear to and from our international headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL.
