NAYS Education Grant Program

Providing assistance to organizations in need

The purpose of the National Alliance for Youth Sports Education Grant Program is to offer youth sports organizations discounted training and membership fees for coaches, parents, officials and league directors.

At NAYS, our mission is to educate, equip and empower youth sports leaders, volunteers and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of sports. Training the adults involved in youth sports about their roles in creating a safe and positive environment impacts programs in countless ways.

We understand that many communities do not have the financial resources to make that happen. Therefore U.S.-based youth sports organizations in need of assistance are invited to apply for a NAYS Education Grant.

This is a matching fund grant. The benefitting organization will match funds raised. NAYS Education Grants are available thanks to the support of national and local sponsors and partners.

Is my organization eligible to apply for a grant?


  • Applicant must be a US-based organization.

  • Applicant must be a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization

  • Applicant organization must be at least two years old from Effective Date of Exemption listed on the IRS letter of determination

  • Applicant must have funds available to match the grant amount (See pricing guide below)

Sponsor Opportunities

With your help, youth sports organizations in need of assistance will be able to educate their coaches, parents, officials and league directors. Sponsors will have the opportunity to choose a geographic location to benefit. However, unrestricted sponsorships allow NAYS to select the organizations with the highest need nationwide.

Example sponsorships:

$440 – One small organization

4 league directors, 15 coaches, 60 parents, 5 officials

$1,780 – One medium organization

8 league directors, 60 coaches, 300 parents, 25 officials

$6,270 – One large organization

12 league directors, 250 coaches, 1200 parents, 50 officials

Benefits:

Your company or organizations will be listed as a national program partner, your information distrubuted to all grant organizations, and local youth sports organizations will be encouraged to include your logo and information on their website and in program materials.
