4 new features for NAYS Member Organizations you need to know about

The new year is bringing exciting changes for NAYS. We’ve been busy over the past year getting a few new features ready to help organizations provide high quality programming for young athletes all over the country. NAYS Member Organizations have several changes to look forward to, and we are thrilled to finally unveil what we have been working on.

Background check integration through our screening partner, Sterling Volunteers

To make the coach background screening process easier for our NAYS Member Organizations, NAYS has partnered with Sterling Volunteers to build a customized integration system. NAYS Member Organizations can request and manage background checks through their NAYS account, significantly reducing administrative time. Learn more

Account balance feature

Member Organizations can now add and use funds with the new account balance feature within their NAYS Member Organization account. The organization can add funds via credit card, check, or purchase order. Use this balance to pay for coach, parent, league director, or official registrations, renewals and coach background checks.

Streamlined member management

Member management has never been easier with our new member list feature. NAYS Member Organizations can manage coaches, parents, league directors, and officials from one convenient location, instead of separate lists. Organizations will be able to review a member’s training status, background check status, add trainings, and renew memberships from their member list.

Member pre-registration updates

Previously, NAYS Member Organizations were only able to pre-register coaches for the NAYS Coach Training – and the coach’s full registration details were required. Now, organizations can pre-register parents, officials and league directors in addition to coaches, with just their name, email address, and sport. The members will complete their registration online.

Current NAYS Member Organizations can check out these new features by logging in to their account. To get started with background checks, be sure to enroll through your account by following the simple registration process.
