We are now accepting session proposals for our 22nd annual Youth Sports Congress, which will take place on Nov. 1-4 in Baltimore.
Each year hundreds of recreation professionals from around the country, and U.S. military bases worldwide, attend the Congress, which is co-located with the Athletic Business Show. They participate in educational sessions led by dynamic and informative speakers; attend the fun-filled NAYS and Athletic Business welcome receptions; network with their peers; and more!
We are looking for a variety of informative and educational sessions focused on all aspects of youth sports administration.
Congress attendees are comprised of recreation leaders and staff members at local parks and recreation departments around the country; community-based organizations that include YMCAs/YWCAs and Boys & Girls Clubs; and U.S. military bases worldwide which conduct youth sports programs.
Each year the Congress sessions address key topics to help improve youth sports programs; enhance leadership skills; and help create safe and fun experiences for all participants. Topics covered at the 2022 Youth Sports Congress included The Art of Dealing with Difficult People in Youth Sports; Making it Safer to Compete; The Keys to a Successful New Program Launch; Learn to Lead Like a Pro in Youth Sports; and more.
The deadline for submitting a session proposal is April 15.
If there are topics you would like to see covered, or speakers you would like to recommend, please share those at yscongress@nays.org.
