The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) has teamed with Simon's Heart, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death in children. Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in the U.S., taking the lives of more than 350,000 people each year. It is also the number one killer of student athletes. Statistics like these are the reason that NAYS has sought further heart health training for members.
This training, provided by Simon's Heart, features valuable information on sudden cardiac arrest and what needs to be done to help save more young lives. This training is broken down into several sections:
Throughout the training you'll find multiple choice questions to test how well you understand the material. Once you correctly answer all the questions you can print out a certificate recognizing that you have completed this additional Sudden Cardiac Arrest training.
NAYS and Simon's Heart are proud to offer this course to everyone, completely FREE!
