St. Louis manager Mike Matheny shares insights on coaching kids
10/30/2015
St. Louis manager Mike Matheny, who has guided the Cardinals into the post-season in each of his four seasons at the helm, has clearly emerged as one of the game’s best leaders.
But equally impressive is his approach to coaching youth sports, which he did after retiring from his 13-year Major League career as a catcher and four-time Gold Glove winner.
Matheny sat down with the National Alliance for Youth Sports to talk about coaching kids, motivating them, dealing with parents, and more, in this episode of Game Changers, which you can check out HERE.
